Bhitarkanika national park is a wetland of mangroves forest in the Indian state of Odisha, spread over a area of 650 sq km (250 sq mi).
How To Reach
From Kolkata, Bhitarkanika is 410 km, about 10 hours journey; which is generally done at night to save time. Roads in Odisha are one of the best in India. So your journey by road will be pleasant. I personally went to Bhitarkanika twice; once by road and next time by train. From Bhubaneswar airport by road it is 152 km, about 3 hours journey. From Cuttack railway station by road it is 123 km, about 2 1/2 hours. From Jajapur Keonjhar Railway Station by road it is 131 km, about 2 1/2 hours.
